2016 Water Quality Bike Ride

The Siskiyou Velo Bike Club is partnering with local stormwater management programs for a ride on Sunday, June 12^th in Talent and Phoenix.  The purpose of the ride is to look at techniques to improve the quality of urban runoff that comes from streets, parking lots, driveways, and rooftops that makes its way to local streams and ultimately to Bear Creek.  This family-friendly ride will be about 11 miles with no significant hills starting from Chuck Roberts Park on Talent Ave and will loop through the Cities of Talent and Phoenix and the Bear Creek Greenway back to Talent.  Stops will be made to allow Jennie Morgan from Rogue Valley Sewer Services and Greg Stabach from the Rogue Valley Council of Governments to explain various water quality improvement features we will see along the way.
