Bear Creek Watershed Education Partners (BCWEP)

The Bear Creek Watershed Education Partners (BCWEP) formed in November of 1994 and recently disbanded in December 2016 as an official a nonprofit corporation. BCWEP was made up of educators, citizens and local, state, and federal agency personnel from throughout the Bear Creek Watershed. Members are still active on a volunteer basis and many of its programs are now being implemented by partners through Stream Smart.

BCWEP’s  mission was to provide increased watershed education opportunities for Rogue Valley youths and to encourage educators, students, communities, and public agencies and organizations to work together to protect, enhance, and maintain Bear Creek and neighboring Rogue Basin watersheds.
