Imagine a Day Without Water is a national education campaign to engage stakeholders, public officials, and the general public about how water is essential, invaluable, and needs investment. It will take place on October 21, 2020 and includes events, social media engagement and more across the country and here in the Rogue Valley.

Water resources agencies in the Rogue Basin are joining forces as part of the fifth annual Imagine a Day Without Water, a nationwide day of education and advocacy about the value of water.

Who is behind the Rogue Basin’s Imagine a Day Without Water?

Drinking Water Providers:

  • Rogue Drinking Water Partnership: City of Grants Pass and Medford Water Commission

Additional Organizations:

  • Jackson Soil and Water Conservation District
  • Rogue Riverkeeper
  • Rogue River Watershed Council
  • Rogue Valley Council of Governments
  • Rogue Valley Sewer Services

All of these organizations are working to raise awareness about not taking water for granted and the crucial need for investment in our region’s water systems. An investment in our drinking water and wastewater systems and protecting our water resources is essential to our national health, safety, environment, and economic prosperity.
